Welcome! Whether you are a student, parent or guardian, or adult interested in mentoring, we would be glad to get to know you and consider including you in our team.

Our programs:

FIRST LEGO League Explore (We are just starting this team! Grades 2-4)
FIRST LEGO League: Challenge (We are just starting this team! Grades 4-6)
FIRST Tech Challenge (Grades 7-12)
SkillsUSA Urban Search & Rescue Robotics (Grades 6-12)

For mentoring: you don't need technical skills in robotics, we also need help with food, business & marketing, public speaking, event organization, and more!

2025/2026 Season Needs

Running multiple robotics teams costs a lot! We have some school grants that will cover part of the following needs, but we rely on community sponsorship and support for the rest! Please consider donating to the team and you could qualify to be recognized on our website, team shirts, and on signs at our competition pit tables. For larger sponsors we are willing to come do a robot demo and presentation at your business!

Robotics Parts

$3000. We plan to buy components for another robot so that we can work on SkillsUSA robots throughout the year without having to tear apart the FTC competition robot. Additionally, we are always improving and building more complex systems.

Hotels

$1800 for FTC season competitions. $2500 for SkillsUSA state. More if we go to Nationals again!

Registration Fees

$1000 for FTC and SkillUSA registration fees.

Feed the Team

$800 for food at practices and team dinners at competitions. If anyone wants to donate in kind with food for practices or host a team dinner, we would love that!

Gas

$300 for gas for travel to competitions across the state.

Team Shirts

$200 for team shirts and pit decorations.

Sponsorship Packages:

Bronze (under $250): A thank you card.
Silver ($250+): A thank you card and recognition on our website.
Gold ($500+): Everything from silver + your logo on team shirts and signs at our tables at competitions and events.
Platinum ($1001+): Everything from gold + a custom donor plaque created in the Alberton School Shop + a visit to your business/organization with a robot demo (if feasible).
